XXL abstract wooden sculpture, 1970s. The sculpture has a very strong presence and is showing interesting overflowing organic lines. All is carved by hand with great conviction and expression out of one large wooden stem of Chestnut wood with an expressed wild wood grain. The shapes, carvings, structure of the chisel and matt finish gives the sculpture a very interesting expressive and strong feel. Unique to find such a large abstract wooden sculpture. Signed at the base. In very good original condition.
