XL abstract wooden sculpture, France 1970s. Powerful presence with rough organic shapes and strong cubistic cut outs. The sculpture shows an interesting play of balance and a nice contrast between the flowing lines and hard cuts. The different divisions, cut outs, elegant curves in combination with the raw textured wood grains providing a unique outspoken character. The dark wooden surface creates very strong and expressive silhouettes. In excellent condition.
