Large abstract wooden sculpture by Luigi Nervo (Torino 1930 - 2006), Italy 1970s. Nervo began his career as an industrial designer and later started experimenting with different art forms, ultimately discovering his love for wood. A bond with nature is always present. This unique sculpture is hand-carved out of one piece of solid Ceder wood. The sculpture is in an excellent original condition and shows a great patina.
