Wengé and Rush dining chairs, France 1950s

Set of four rustic dining chairs, France 1950s. The chairs are made out of solid Wengé and have a rush seat and backrest in a beautiful woven pattern. The chairs have many similarities with the 'Dordogne' chairs by Sentou. The main difference is that they are slightly bigger. The chairs provide a good comfort due to the wider seating part and curved backrest. In very good original condition with a beautiful patina.
