Vladimir Kagan ‘Serpentine’ sofa

Vladimir Kagan 'Serpentine' sofa, United States 1950s. This is the largest model and its from a later production, it is completely restored and reupholstered. We used an exclusive thick and voluminous Mohair velvet from the collection of Pierre Frey ®. The sand colored mohair fabric makes a beautiful contrast with the nice dark American walnut base. The sensual and sculptural 'serpentine' shape comes out best in this largest version. The sofa offers a large seating part, and both comfortable to relax, lay or seat due o the high quality seat and shape of the backrest. Stunning and timeless Mid-century modern icon. In excellent condition.
