Unique aluminium coffee table by Victor Cerrato (1917 - 2008), Italy 1960s. Cerrato opened his workshop in Turin in the early years after the Second World War. His oeuvre is mostly decorative and functional but always to support his abstract calligraphic drawings. The table shows an abstract expressional calligraphic play of lines etched on a solid aluminium plate supported by two aluminium bases. In great original condition with a nice dark patina on the aluminium top.
