Iconic pair of stainless steel lounge chairs by François Monnet for Kappa, France 1970s. Striking design composed of curved stainless steel frames with bulky-shaped cushions. The cushions are upholstered in dark pure chocolate brown nubuck leather, creating a beautiful contrast with the cool and sleek brushed stainless steel. The eye-catching silhouette is defined by the tilted C-shaped seat, which rests on a cross C-shaped base; the backward-angled seating part emphasizes the aerodynamic feel. In addition to its aesthetic appeal, the tilted curved backrest features a sturdy springback function, providing great comfort in combination with the high-resilience cushions.
