‘Spinnaker’ table lamp by Corsini & Wiskemann for Stilnovo, Italy 1968

Spinnaker table lamp by Constantino Corsini and Giorgio Wiskemann for Stilnovo, Italy 1968. Stunning design made of a high gloss stainless steel shade on a bow shaped metal base finished with its original off white structure lacquer. The lamp earns its name 'Spinnaker' due to its shape which reminds the huge Spinnaker sail used on sailing boats. The switch button is integrated inside the metal base and has the function to switch on and off all lamps individual, the lamp takes three lamps in total; two E-27 light bulbs inside the shade and one linear light bulb as an atmospherical backlight (also made in a LED version nowadays). The lamp is re-polished and checked by our professional team. Literature: Italian Light 1960-1980 by P.Plama & C. Vannicola, Collezione Cortopassi, Aline, Florence, 2004, page 86. In excellent original condition.
