Set Meribel chairs by Charlotte Perriand for Steph Simon, 1950s

Set 'Meribel' chairs by Charlotte Perriand, 1950s. This is the first model produced in the fifties by Steph Simon. The set is in a very good original condition. The Ash wooden frames show a stunning patina and make a nice warm contrast with the original woven rush seatings. The set consists out one lighter Ash- and one darker Ash version, available as a set or individual. Literature: J. Barsac, 'Charlotte Perriand, Un art d'habiter', Editions Norma, Paris, 2005. In very good and fully original condition.
