Sergio Mazza Clio wall lamps fro Artemide, Italy 1960s – Set of Two

Pair of 'Clio' wall lights by Sergio Mazza for Artemide, Italy 1960s. Frames made of nickel plated brass, bowl shaped shades of frosted glass.
Impressive architectonic appearance due to its monumental size and raw use of material. Each sconce holds two E-27 light fittings which gives the option to have a hight light output without being annoying due to the satin glass. Literature: Domus 366 (May 1960), p. 46 Domus 399 (February 1963), p. d / 108 Catalog Artemide 1973, p. 56. In good original condition with a nice patina on the nickel frame.
