Sculptural wooden and velvet bar stools, 1970s

Interesting set of four bar stools, 1970s. The set is made of a turned wooden base and is upholstered in a beautiful burnt orange velvet. The hand-carved frames show beautiful chisel marks. They are made from a very hard wood which is dark stained and finished with a wax. The seats are reupholstered in a high quality velvet and the foam is renewed as well. The set is very stable and comfortable and in a very good condition.
