Roger Capron & Jean Derval ceramic table lamp, France 1970. Strong cubistic shape with a nice contrasting round medallion showing a refined textured drawing of a two faced sun. All is made by hand in a limited number and therefore each lamp is slightly different in color, texture and decoration providing a unique character. This lamp has a beautiful warm colored base and a refined pattern on the edges of the backside. The lamp is provided with a custom-made raw silk lampshade with linen lining on the inside.
