Pine wooden ‘Palle’ stool by K.J. Pettersson & Söner

Palle stool by K.J. Pettersson & Söner, Sweden 1970s. Beautiful strong and sculptural shape made of solid Northern European pine. The stool has a beautiful exposed wood grain and shows a stunning patina. This model is often misattributed to Axel Einar Hjorth, but recent discoveries verify it has been produced by Swedish furniture maker K.J. Pettersson & Söner who produced this stool for a very short time. In good original condition.
