Pierre Chapo ‘S11’ chairs in Solid Elm & Leather – set of 8

Stunning set of eight ‘S11’ dining chairs by Pierre Chapo, France 1966. Made of solid Elmwood with beautifully patinated cognac saddle leather seating and back rest. The well crafted "48 x 72" wood-joints immediately catches the eye, makes it the signature of Chapo. Very interesting contrast between the traditional French materials and artisan form of craftsmanship and refined sharp designed details. The chairs provide a very comfortable seat and support for the back, perfect for long dining. In excellent original condition with an incredible patina and warm glow on the Elmwood and saddle leather. A perfect match with our T21E dining table.
