Osvaldo Borsani P40 Lounge Chair for Tecno, Italy 1955

First edition P40 lounge chair by Osvaldo Borsani for Tecno Italy, 1955. The early edition varies in different ways from the later production; it has a round tubular base, the back and neck rest out of one piece and some other small differences. The One and only nice production in our opinion. The chair can be adjusted at thee different points: Back-rest, seat and feet support with extendable footrest, making it extremely comfortable.
The chair is reupholstered in a rich and beautiful petrol coloured classic mohair velvet. Makes a perfect and interesting contrast with the black round metal base and the refined patinated brass details. Marked twice with the Tecno logo plate and marked with the old stickers and numbers on the base as well. In excellent condition.
