Nanda Vigo “Top series” chair in mirrored glass for FAI International, Italy 1970

Nanda Vigo “Top Series” chair in mirrored glass for FAI International, Italy 1970s. Architectural design composed of a clear mirrored-clad cubic frame with a warm saturated brown velvet seating element, brushed aluminium edges, and a black Formica front panel. The chair is raised on discreet casters, adding both mobility and a playful character. An interesting contrast emerges between the sleek reflective outer shell and the comfortable warm inner part. The restrained geometric composition and reflective surfaces strongly embody the radical Italian design language of that period. A sculptural and refined statement piece in excellent condition.
