Midcentury Modern Bench in solid Ash & Lucite

Low bench or large coffee table, France 1970s. Made from solid Ash wooden slats and stands on a refined strong Lucite base. The variety of interesting details shows this piece is made by a very skilled craftsman; the dovetail joints and the interesting joints for the Lucite base.
It's a very strong and solid piece which can be used as a large coffee / side table or a low bench. Would also look lovely with a thin cushion and a neck roll to serve as a daybed.
In very good original condition with a subtle patina.
