Stunning ‘Le Bambole’ two seater sofa by Mario Bellini for B&B Italy 1972. Early edition, which varies from the newer production; the original shape is more bulky and the armrests are curved (new are flat). Designed as if it were cushions, resulting in a remarkable playful aesthetic sofa. Due to it’s puffy arm-, backrest and seat, the sofa provides extreme comfort in many positions. Sit straight up of more laid back. ‘Le Bamole’ was awarded with the Compasso d’Oro in 1979. The sofa is reupholstered in a beautiful characteristic Aniline leather from the highest quality, the original structure and foam is slightly reshaped by our experienced upholsterer. In very good condition.
