Marble center piece "Voltero" by Egidio Di Rosa & Pier Alessandro Giusti for Up&Up, Italy 1970. Floating, bulbous, cylindrical-shaped bowl made from a beautiful Calacatta Bianco marble. The marble features intriguing grey veining, which stand out beautifully against the clean white background. The bowl is honed all around, which makes the veining stand out to their fullest, while the flat inside surface reveals an artistic repeating circular pattern that has been left matte, creating an interesting contrast with the outer shell. Only the finest pieces of marble, with the most striking and expressive grains were selected and all was crafted with excellent craftsmanship. In excellent original condition.
