Wall panel by OCE - L'Ouef centre d'Etudes, France 1960s. L'Ouef centre d'Etudes (L'Ouef the centre of studies) was established in 1962, a multi disciplinary group which brought together architects, sculptors, designers, graphics and mosaicists. They produced mainly abstract works, even linked to kinetic art. In particular, they created mosaics for the entrance halls of important building mostly in Paris. These tiles re made of ceramic 'Grès', a very hard clay. The ensemble varies in pattern and color hue together with beautiful edged design it creates a fantastic artistic wall object. In very Good condition.
