Large set of Abstract wooden sculptures, France 1970s – II

Interesting large group of abstract wooden sculptures, France 1970s. The sculptures are carved by hand with great conviction and expression, carved out of fine Solid Ash wood with a nice warm undertone. Very strong and interesting graphic shapes and textures showing the refined skills of the artist. The sculptures all show strong primitive influences with a modern abstract approach reminding of the work of Constantin Brancusi. The sculptures are signed at the side: I. M. and individually named under each sculpture. All in a very good original condition with a nice deep warm patina.
