Large Sculptural Wooden Bench by Francesco Pasinato, 1970s

Rare sculptural bench by Francesco Pasinato (1935 – 2003), 1970s. Pasinato was born in Padua Italy and later moved to Germany. He created playful sculptures in metal and wood, paintings and graphics. The benches where a step into a different field and can be seen as applied art. Several pieces where created but each piece is different and unique. The benches are made out of solid Pine and have a strong and deep structured relief and play between organic shapes, carvings and cut outs. The seating parts can be flipped open and the space under offers a nice storage space. Wonderful pieces in an entrance hall, bedroom, changing room or any other space. In very good original condition with a characteristic patina.
