Large Italian Black and Red glazed ceramic table lamp by Fantoni, 1960s

Rare ceramic table lamp by Marcello Fantoni, Italy 1960s. Spectacular abstract pattern in red and black glaze with a glossy finish. Originally designed and made as a lamp base, visable by the glazed cable hole. The shade is custom made in a spectacular open shape, matching the pattern of the base. Outside of the shade is made of raw black linen (James Hire collection), the inside has a warm bronze finish and a bronze coloured frame. Provided with one light fitting. Signed on the bottom of the base; Fantoni Italy. In good condition.
