Geometric wall relief by Henk van der Plas (1936-2009), The Netherlands 1974. Van der Plas was educated at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague. His work is characterized by monochromy, repetition in rhythm and regularity and the use of modern materials. Van der Plas created mainly white reliefs in wood, cardboard, perspex, polystyrene and other plastics. Although Henk van der Plas does not belong to the art movement NUL / ZERO (1960-1965), his work is certainly related to the movement. This work stands out in size and creates a very interesting play of light and shadows which accentuates the geometric shapes. In excellent condition.
