French Art Populaire tripod chairs – set of two

Solid Elm wooden Art Populaire chairs, France 1960s. Beautiful primitive tripod chairs out of dark stained solid Elm wood. Interesting primitive authentic clamp construction resulting in a very sculptural appearance. The chairs shows many interesting details such as the hand carved structured surface of the seats and backs and the front leg construction which come true the top of the seats. In a good strong condition.
