Francis Jourdain lounge chair and footstool, France 1920s

Stunning lounge chair and footstool by Francis Jourdain, France 1920s. The design shows catchy 'fast' bowed lines, beautifully made out of refined solid Pear wood which shows a great wood grain. We have two sets available, sold individually. The chairs can recline into various positions; lifting the front of the seat enables both backrest and seat to change position. The curved lines make a very interesting contrast with the square block seat and backrest with their beautiful cane weaving in block pattern. In excellent condition.
