Fontana Arte ‘Diaframma’ wall sconces, Italy 1960s – set of two

Set of two wall sconces by Gianemilio Piero and Anna Monti for Fontana Arte, Italy 1960s. Beautifully constructed out of chromed brass and frosted glass. The name 'Diaframma' refers to the mechanism that allows them to be opened in multiple positions, like a diaphragm. Magnificent distribution of light. Versatile and rare wall lamps in a very good original condition.
