Sculptural concrete ‘Sphere’ chairs with a natural moss patina, Italy 1960s. Produced in the 1960s by an Italian manufacturer specialized in architectonic concrete outdoor objects and furniture. These sculptural chairs are made of solid reinforced concrete, featuring organic spherical forms that offer a surprisingly comfortable seat. Over the decades, the chairs have developed a striking natural moss patina — a living layer that gives them a unique and characterful appearance. We chose to preserve this beautiful surface, as it tells the story of time and nature. Beneath the moss lies a fantastic warm white surface with a subtle yellow undertone and a refined texture, as shown in the photo of a cleaned chair from the same series. If preferred, the chairs can easily be cleaned to reveal their original finish. The current set consists of three chairs but can be extended to four or five. Cleaning can be arranged upon request, a service we are happy to provide free of charge. The chairs are in great condition, suitable for year-round outdoor use, and display a stunning natural patina.
