Charles Dudouyt dining chairs, France 1940s – set of six

Exceptional set of six dining chairs by Charles Dudouyt for La Gentilhommière, France 1940s. Beautiful sharp lines in nice French Oak with minimal yet strong decorative details such as the brass knobs and the line play. The cushions are reupholstered in a high end 100% Mohair velvet, the copper spring core seating cushions are tightened and kept original. The chairs offer great comfort due to the quality seats and soft and tilted backrests. The chairs are all signed with the signature of Charles Dudouyt, see photo ten. All is in very good condition with a beautiful subtle patina on the solid Oak wooden frames.
