Carlo Nason Spherical table lamp, Italy 1970s

Large Murano glass table lamp by Carlo Nason for Linea GB Milano, Italy 1970s. Interesting spherical design composed of three interlocking parts in opaline and and light tinted glass. The clean and perfect sphere shape is being subtly interrupted by two horizontal lines of the three stacked parts resulting in an interesting play of lines. The opaline part is placed in the center to filter and spread the light provided by the three E14 light bulbs in a soft and balanced way. The lamp is in excellent original condition.
