Boomerang shaped coffee table in Marble and Travertine, 1960s

Striking large boomerang shaped coffee table, Italy 1960’s. Composed of a brown coloured marble top which rests on three low cilinder shaped travertine columns. The large marble top has an interesting ‘boomerang' shaped free form with elegant curved edges, making it almost floating and giving it an impressive architectural appearance. The top is polished and shows beautiful deep browns earth tones which makes a nice contrast with it's bright white Christal veins and the travertine columns with a nice open structure. Heavy and stable whole in very good original condition.
