Art Populaire tripod stool in solid Walnut

Art Populaire tripod stool in solid Walnut, France early 20th century. The stool is coming from the Auvergne in Central France and is made in a typical primitive way. The seat of the stool is following the original shape of the wood and is carved out by hand. The free form shaped seat and stubborn feet makes it a very attractive and sculptural object. Nice original handcrafted decorative piece. The stool shows a nice warm patina and is in a very good and stable condition.
