Angelo Lelii Sphere Spot Floor lamp for Arredoluce, Italy 1960s

Refined floor lamp by Angelo Lelii for Arredoluce, Italy 1960s. Interesting sphere shaped light spot made out of nickel plated brass, a nickel plated stem and a matt black enameled base. The small sphere spot is connected by a magnet allowing it to change in different positions, inside it hides a light fitting for a small bayonet lamp. The fitting is connected to the sphere spot on the inside which made it possible to create this kind of unvisible light point. The lamp has no visible screws in the spot, only an input for the cable; some in the market have a screw through the sphere this is a defect. The shape of the base is matching with the other forms; flat cylindrical and is different from other models produced with a convex top and therefore more beautiful and consequent. The lamp is in an excellent original condition including its original cable and light switch.
