Afra & Tobia Scarpa ‘Polygonon’ Dining table for B&B Italia

Rare and exceptional dining table mod. ‘Polygonon’ by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for B&B Italia, Italy 1984. The fantastic base is made from electro coated stainless sheets with an iridescent finish which shifts into different colors; from blue to green to purple and pink hues depending on the viewpoint. On top lays an 15 mm thick oval glass top with a beautiful deeply saturated blue colour with nicely rounded edges. The table comes with two original B&B Italia concrete weights which have to placed inside the metal base (not visible). In excellent condition.
