Abstract wooden totem sculpture by R. van ‘t Zelfde, 1970s

Abstract curved wooden totem sculpture by R. van 't Zelfde (The Hague 1949), the Netherlands 1976. Van 't Zelfde studied at the Academy of fine arts in The Hague. The sculpture is hand-carved out of one piece of beautiful solid pear wood with a nice warm undertone. Beautiful organic shapes that flow into each other. Marked underneathth with the label the coming from the collection of 'Stedelijk Museum de Lakenhal'. In a very good condition.
