Abstract iron sculpture, France 1950s. Refined forged iron standing mobile sculpture constructed out of multiple scalene triangular shapes, a balancing ring with an zoomorphic shape. Interesting play of sharp crossing vertical lines which creates a nice three dimensional object, the circular shape and organic form creates an interesting contrast with the sharp lines. The metal gained a beautiful characteristic patina and structured surface over the years. In very good original condition.
