Set of two Brutalist wooden sculptures, France 1970s. The sculptures have very strong and brute emphases, all carved by hand with great conviction and expression. The shapes, carvings and finish give them a very interesting expressive Brutalist feel. The sculptures really stand out in a clean space and make a nice contrast. Unique to find an ensemble like this; they really reinforce each other. In very good original condition.
