Abstract anthropomorphic sculpture by Teun Renes (1923), The Netherlands 1979. Interesting and outspoken organic shapes sculpted out of dark tropical wood with a nice smooth surface. Teun Renes was part of the Liga group among artists like Carel Visser. Beautiful flowing lines, strong organic shapes and open fields creating a piece that's floats over in the space. Signed and dated at the back: T Renes '79. Outstanding piece in excellent condition.
