Gaetano Pesce “Nobody’s Perfect” chair for Zerodisegno
“Nobody’s Perfect” chair by Gaetano Pesce (La Spezia 1939 – New York 2024) for Zerodisegno, Italy, 2005. The concept of the chair reflects Pesce’s radical design philosophy, in which imperfection and individuality are embraced as essential values. These imperfections are deliberately accepted to create unique pieces. Executed in poured red PU resin with golden accents, the chair reveals Pesce’s long-standing fascination with experimental materials. Its translucent body allows light to pass through the object, emphasizing depth, color variation, and the material’s expressive character. The chair was created using an innovative technique and embodies Pesce’s approach of thinking simultaneously in material, color, form, and narrative. Signed and dated on the lower part of the chair: 29-04-05 AF-Zerodisegno – Gaetano Pesce. In excellent condition.
