Sculptural table lamp mod. “Due Cubi” by Ingo Knuth for Soldi & Scati, Italy 1970s. Soldi & Scati was a small Milanese manufacturer known for producing refined, chic and sculptural handcrafted objects in premium-quality methacrylate. The design is composed of two cubes — hence its name Due Cubi — resting on a refined polished steel square base. Executed entirely in solid, high-quality materials, the lamp creates an intriguing dialogue between the strong, geometric cubes and the hollow sphere. Beyond its clean and elegant design, the lamp truly stands out due to its impressive scale, resulting in a powerful sculptural presence. It features a single central light fitting, elegantly hidden within a polished steel cylinder. The light is beautifully diffused and softly filtered through the clear acrylic glass. The lamp remains in excellent condition.
