Large abstract Bronze sculpture by Maurice Perrenoud (1914 - 2007), Switzerland 1970s. Strong sharp & bold shapes made in solid dark patinated bronze with exposed line structure to highlight the orientation and shapes. Interesting combination of organic convex shapes and straight hard lines to create a strong contrast and powerful presence. The sculpture has a very strong brute yet refined expression, the dark patinated bronze points out the feeling and the silhouette even more. Interesting from every angle showing the aesthetic eye and bold approach for shapes and proportions of Perrenoud. Made from solid bronze and therefore very heavy (100 KG). In excellent original condition.
