Large floor lamp mod. ‘Scultura’ by Gaetano Missaglia, Italy 1960s
Rare sculptural floor lamp model 'Scultura' by Gaetano Missaglia, Italy in 1960s. Unique design composed out of a variety of twenty square and rectangular tubes with matching plexiglass diffusers and Walnut block bases resulting in a futuristic architectural appearance. Each tube hides two light fittings in order to illuminate both up- and down which not only creates and atmospheric light true the diffusers but also a beautiful glow on the floor. Missaglia was an experimental studio working with interesting designers and artists and, besides this exclusive lamp, created different other radical sculptural light fixtures. Fully checked and re-polished into perfection. The scultura floor lamp is in excellent original condition.
