Dutch Modernist side table in solid Oak by Paul Bromberg for Pander & zonen, The Netherlands 1920s. Style: Haagse school. Refined and well balanced modernist design executed in solid stained Oak with a beautiful visible grain. Progressive design with repeating cubistic yet elegant finished shapes. Very well crafted, an important value of Pander as one of the leading Dutch furniture manufacturers from that time. Wouda had a great appreciation for the work of Frank Loyd Wright, this design is as wel reminiscent of the style we know from Dutch modernist architects such as Gerrit Rietveld. Marked with the metal company tag and stamp. In excellent condition.
