Large Abstract concrete Sculpture by Roger Desserprit, France 1969
Unique large abstract sculpture by Roger Desserprit (1923-1985), France 1969. The sculpture is made out of reinforced solid concrete, the surface is finished in a sand coloured and off-white structured mineral layer creating a nice voluminous feeling. The sculpture has very strong lines and is beautiful from every angle. It showing an interesting dialogue between the organic lines and cubic shapes. It can be placed both inside or outside due to the reinforced concrete. Works by Roger Desserprit can be found in various private collections, notably in France and Italy, at the Grenoble Museum, at the Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris and at the Musée des Ursulines in Mâcon. The work is signed at the base: Desserprit 69. The sculpture is in an excellent condition.
