Large abstract wooden 'split' sculpture, 1970s. The sculpture is made with strong expression and a shows a clear play of lines, all cuts are chosen very deliberate following the artistic intuition resulting in a very interesting calligraphic style. The different divisions, twisted lines, cut outs, textured wood grains are the points out it's outspoken character. The dark brown stained wooden surface in combination with the strong shapes creates a very strong and expressive silhouette. In excellent condition.
