Abstract wooden Sculpture by Jan Hoog (17-07-1923), The Netherlands 1978. Impressive large and voluminous piece sculpted out of dark tropical wood with a nice smooth surface and subtle woodgrain. Interesting flowing lines and strong abstract organic shapes, reminiscent of the work of Henry Moore. Signed and dated at the back: JH 78. Outstanding piece in excellent condition.
