Large abstract metal sculpture by John Risley (1919-2002), United States ca. 1965. The sculpture is named 'Lily Pads' as the water plant due to it floristic shapes and spread pattern. Several sculptures in the same series where created by the artist, each sculpture is slightly different in design and size. The sculpture is created from solid metal wire rods finished with the original matt black lacquer showing a subtle patina. Beautiful from every surface. In excellent condition.
