Melchiorre Bega lounge chairs in mohair velvet, Italy 1930s
Set of two armchairs by Italian architect and designer Melchiorre Bega, Italy 1930s. The chairs are very well proportioned and show strong Art Deco lines. The chairs come from a famous apartment in Bologna designed by Melchiorre Bega for the Gerri family. The chairs have been fully restored and reupholstered according to the original design. The wooden legs follow the angle of the armrests and contrast nicely with the luxurious velvet mohair in a refined tobacco color. Extremely comfortable armchairs in excellent condition.
