Large abstract sculpture by Miraldo Beghini (Vicenza 1942), Italy 1961. Important and exceptional large work from the early years of Beghini. The sculpture is shaped out of chamotte clay and has an amazing expressionist multi colored glaze in different hues and layers, which accentuates the interesting forms. Beghini is one of the most important artists from Vicenza from the second part of the 20th century. He studied at several academies, such as Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia and has had contact with and attended courses from different important artists. Beghini is a very talented multidisciplinary artist who created paintings, engravings and sculptures. The sculpture is in a perfect untouched condition.
