The chair is well known for its appearance in Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey and is part of the collection of the Centre de Pompidou and the MoMA in New York. Made of a tubular steel frame with rubber singles, foam and fabric. Reupholstered within the original specifications in a high quality woolen velvet. In excellent condition.
